Ray of Cheer has a small flower that brightens the garden for 6 weeks in mid–season with 1 lateral branch and a terminal Y . The light salmon petals originate from an orange throat and are accented with a rounded coral band which contrasts nicely with the twist and quill of the sepals. The bloom has good substance and is wind and rain-fast. Seedlings from it have included hot pink unusual forms. Fertile both ways. ((Golden Scroll × Small Wonder) × Tripod Novelty)

Name inspiration: Hymn "Just a Little Talk with Jesus" The name is also a tribute to our cheerful and humble church friend, Ray.
