Glory Be Morning Mercies has small clear pale melon blooms and an open form. The medium dark scapes hold lightly bronzed buds (sepal backs) and the pods are stippled with purple. Three rounds of scapes quickly appear in a staggered fashion such that the loosely ruffled blooms can be enjoyed into the later season. It is a slightly larger sibling to Glory Be Brighter Days with a more pink than peach melon hue. Fertile both ways. ((Sir Blackstem x (H. hakuunensis x Triumphant Topaz)) × (((H. yezoensis x Nutmeg Elf) x (Baby Blues x Delicate Lace)) x From Darkness Comes Light))
Name taken from the hymn "Great is Thy Faithfulness": Morning by morning new mercies I see.
